Style and Design
One of two corner summerhouses both rather confusingly sometimes marketed as 'the Blockley' (you can find the other here), this is a great looking pentagonal style corner summerhouse with an attractive peaked roof giving it something of an aesthetic advantage over its competitors while also serving to maximise interior headroom. The summerhouse features spacious double opening doors to the front and its large windows both in the doors and front walls allow superb ingress of natural light. There's a great video on the Greenfingers website (opens in a new window) which shows exactly what you get.
The Oxhill is constructed in FSC certified 12mm tongue and groove cladding to both walls and roof with a rigid floor of durable sheeting. The roof is finished in sand felt and for safety the windows are glazed in 1.2mm styrene.
The summerhouse has a basic 7' x 7' footprint giving an overall width of 10'1'' (3.06m) and depth of 7'10'' (2.38m). The height is 6'3'' (1.91m) at the eaves rising to an accommodating 7'11'' (2.4m) at the apex of the roof. The double doors are an impressive 6' (1.83m) wide by 5'10'' (1.78m) high.
by 92 cm deep. Height at the roof ridge is 1.37m.
The Oxhill is supplied pressure treated which ensures protection from rot and effectively removes the requirement for an annual treatment to be applied. Provided the summerhouse is well maintained it carries a 15 year anti rot guarantee for peace of mind.
An ecobase plastic base may be available for the Oxhill at an additional cost.
The Oxhill is delivered flat packed ready for assembly by (recommended) two people. You can download a copy of the installation instructions here (opens in a new window).
