Style and Design
With its five sided stretched corner summerhouse design the Bertsch Penta 7 isn't your standard run of the mill model. A guaranteed talking point, the building features a bright commodious interior, amply served by a large window in the "short" wall, the fully glazed double doors and two windows in the "long" wall. The style and quality is reflected in the price, making the Penta 7 a highly worthwhile investment for your garden. For a clearer idea of the design you can inspect the plans here.
The building is constructed in substantial top quality 44mm double tongue and groove Nordic pine log cladding with substantial 22mm tongue and groove roof and floor boards. Pre-treated foundation joists are also supplied. There are three large tilt and cant windows finished in a Georgian style while the double doors are fully glazed to ensure a light and airy feel inside.
The Penta 7 is 2.24m (7'4'') high at the eaves rising to 3.02m (9'11') at ridge height. Each window measures up at 1.47 x 0.98m (4'10'' x 3'3'') and the double doors at 2 x 1.5m (6'7'' x 4'11''). There is a roof overhang of 30cm on each side.
The summerhouse is delivered untreated ready to finish to the purchaser's preference. A factory treatment option is available if preferred.
The available options for the Penta 7 include factory treatment, Georgian style brass bars for doors and windows and a choice of coloured roof shingles in black green or red. Bitumen roof shingles are also available.
The Penta 7 is delivered free to the majority of areas with full instructions ready for assembly by the purchaser. Here's the assembly video (opens in a new window) for the Penta range which will tell you just what's involved in putting your Penta 7 together.
