Style and Design
A lovely hexagonal corner summerhouse with a spacious and bright interior, the Hanna sports an attractive apex roof and Georgian syled windows along with large double opening front doors and an overall appealing design. It's a versatile log cabin and is equally suited to the corner of the garden or in a more central position. Built of quality materials the Hanna will, properly maintained, provide valuable outdoor living space for many years.
The Hanna is constructed in solid and durable 34mm Nordic spruce logs. The roof and floor are 19mm tongue and groove boarding and the windows and double doors are single glazed in glass. The building also features pressure treated 70 x 45mm support joists and cylindrical locking doors. The interlocking nature of the construction ensures strength and durability throughout.
The Hanna measures 9'11 x 9'11 at the base but you will have to allow space of 14'7'' x 14'7'' to take account of the overhanging roof. The door opening is 4'5'' x 5'11'' and the building's height is 7'5'' at the eaves rising to 11' at hte apex of the roof.
Although the supporting beams are pressure treated the Hanna is otherwise untreated and a suitable decorative/preservative finish will need to be applied at the time of erection. This will have to be renewed on a regular annual basis to ensure a long life for the building. Properly looked after the Hanna will last for many trouble free years.
Some suppliers offer a fitting service while with some the roof coverings or style may be optional - check the seller's website before ordering.
Unless you have opted for a fitting service the Hanna will be delivered with a full assembly kit for diy home assembly. You can download the full instruction manual here (pdf opens in new window).
